It seems as more and more airline companies now comprehend the ill effects of the September 11th attacks in the US. Just recently European giant, British Airways<.> posted a drop of some 24.7 percent in passenger traffic for the month of October.

According to the airline, the numbers recorded measured against the same period last year - was made up of a 36.2 percent fall in premium as well as a 22.4 percent drop in non-premium traffic. According to forecasts, bookings for November show a similar decline to October, with the US, Middle East and Japan being the worst affected markets. According to a company release, early indications for December suggest a slight improvement on November, although the outlook remains volatile.
