Kazakhstan International Tourism Exhibition (KITF) 2024 set for April

From April 24-26, 2024, KITF will showcase global tourism trends and opportunities at Atakent KCBC, Almaty, featuring 406 companies from 28 countries.

From April 24 to April 26, 2024, the Kazakhstan International Tourism and Travel Exhibition – KITF 2024 will be held in the exhibition pavilions of the Atakent KCBC (Almaty).

KITF, the anticipated annual event of the tourism industry in Central Asia, has been held since 2001 and annually demonstrates steady growth in performance. This year’s participants included 406 companies from 28 countries. The platform will demonstrate the full potential of the industry today, the state of inbound, domestic and international destinations. Both tourist destinations in the regions of Kazakhstan and foreign participants will present their proposals. Exhibitors from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Georgia, Greece, Egypt, Italy, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Malaysia, Maldives, UAE, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Japan will introduce visitors to the exhibition to the wide range of business opportunities and national flavor. 16 countries will be represented by National stands. New destinations will participate in KITF for the first time: Kamchatka Territory, Altai Republic (RF), Romania, Phu Quoc (Vietnam).

Within the framework of the exhibition, an exciting and extremely eventful business program is expected, which will take place during all three days of the exhibition in the format of a dynamic “marathon”, the topic of which will be: TREND ZONE: Points of Attraction. The key block of the KITF 2024 business program will be the Plenary session: Alga, Kazakhstan!: tools for tourism development. Successful cases of international practice, where speakers will discuss the successful experience of the participating countries, potential joint cross-border projects, government programs to support tourism, and share tools for promoting Kazakhstan as a travel destination. The annual KITF Travel Forum learning platform will draw attention to important issues and trends in the industry. Guests can expect 17 hours of intense discussions on current topics, which will be attended by 55 speakers. KITF Travel Forum includes: dialogue platforms, panel sessions, company presentations, expert seminars, plenary sessions, networking sessions, partner meetings.

KITF annually acts as a unique professional platform for the exchange of experience, knowledge and the latest trends in tourism, promoting the development of international cooperation, providing opportunities for establishing contacts and concluding partnerships between travel agencies, hotel chains, airlines and government bodies. Every year, new destinations and tourism products are presented here, as well as innovations and industry best practices are discussed. In addition, KITF promotes cultural exchange by showcasing the national flavor and traditions of different countries, contributes to increased interest and attractiveness of tourism destinations. This event, which has become a bridge between cultures and continents, highlights the importance of tourism as a tool for strengthening international relations and economic development.
