In a significant move to strengthen tourism ties, Busan Tourism Organization of Korea and the Tourism Association of Lam Dong – Da Lat, Vietnam, have inked an agreement. This partnership is geared towards boosting tourism exchanges and catalyzing a comprehensive advancement of the tourism sector between the two regions.

This collaborative agreement was formalized during a working visit presided over by Mr. Tran Van Hiep, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee.

Mr. Lee Jung Sil, President of Busan Tourism Organization, highlighted the shared tourism appeal of both regions. He underscored Da Lat City’s picturesque beauty and temperate climate, drawing parallels with Busan’s own allure. Notably, the introduction of a direct flight route between Busan and Da Lat on 17th July 2023 has been pivotal in intensifying tourism interactions between the two cities. Moreover, Busan has articulated plans to further consolidate this burgeoning partnership.

Commending Korea’s overarching development and particularly citing Busan’s infrastructure excellence, Mr. Tran Van Hiep emphasized the significance of proactive tourism promotion. He affirmed Lam Dong Province’s commitment to facilitate tourism enterprises looking to introduce tours to Da Lat and championed a fortified alliance between the two locales.

The partnership agreement, witnessed by the Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, is envisaged to:

  2. Solidify mutual intentions to collaboratively nurture the tourism sector.
  3. Engage in joint marketing endeavors, reciprocal tourism information dissemination, and symbiotic tourism product ideation.
  4. Connect tourism business networks and drive sales campaigns.
