HK Express Airways launches new route to Don Mueang, Bangkok, enhancing travel options and flexibility for visitors to explore the “City of Smiles.”
Hong Kong – HK Express Airways announced the inaugural flight between Hong Kong and Don Mueang (DMK), Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to its existing services to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), Don Mueang as a brand-new destination allows customers to freely opt for either airport in Bangkok, embracing the spirit of “Gotta Go.”
“Don Mueang is HK Express’ fourth destination in Thailand, following Suvarnabhumi, Chiang Mai and Phuket,” said HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao. “Thailand has always been a popular travel destination for HK Express, and we hope that the new Don Mueang route will allow increased flexibility for more customers in experiencing the charm of the ‘City of Smiles’.”
“With the implementation of the mutual visa-free policy between Mainland China and Thailand in March this year, demand for travel to Thailand is expected to grow considerably and therefore to boost sales of related routes,” Jeanette added.
“In fact, Southeast Asia has always been one of the key markets for HK Express, accounting for a quarter of the total number of flights. HK Express will continue to expand its Asian destinations in the future and develop a more balanced flight network between Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and Mainland China We hope to provide a comprehensive list of destinations for our diverse customer base, so that they can ‘Gotta Go’ anywhere.”
Located just north of Bangkok’s city centre, Don Mueang International Airport is the city’s second-largest international airport, with a wide range of facilities and services as well as convenient transport to the city.
