Ngong Ping 360, destined to become one of Hong Kong`s must-do tourist attractions when it opens early 2006, announced its pricing structure and operating hours.

This dynamic new attraction, which will include a stunning 5.7 km cable car journey, Ngong Ping Skyrail, and an impressive cultural themed village, Ngong Ping Village, will also provide visitors with easy access to the Tian Tan Big Buddha.

Ngong Ping Village, which will occupy a 1 1/2 hectare site on Lantau Island, contains two major themed attractions, Walking with Buddha and Monkey`s Tale Theatre, as well as Ngong Ping Tea House and a variety of retail, dining and entertainment experiences.

To enjoy the attraction to its fullest, the Journey of Enlightenment Package has been created combining access and entry to the complete range of Ngong Ping 360`s components: Ngong Ping Skyrail, and the Ngong Ping Village attractions Walking with Buddha and Monkey`s Tale Theatre.

Individual attraction tickets are available for those who wish to enjoy the Ngong Ping Skyrail or Ngong Ping Village as separate entities.

Ms Susan Tse, Director of Sales and Marketing for Ngong Ping 360, said the attraction`s pricing structure had been developed to allow visitors to tailor their own, unique experience.

Ngong Ping 360`s pricing structure is flexible, Ms Tse said. It has been carefully designed to allow our guests to create individual itineraries to suit their personal requirements. This means that Ngong Ping 360 can be enjoyed as a stand-alone attraction or as a part of a complete day out in Lantau.

Ngong Ping 360`s pricing structure has provided special rates for children, aged between three and 11, and senior citizens over the age of 65. Children under the age of three will enjoy Ngong Ping 360 for free.

Rates for `Special Days` are also applicable. In 2006 `Special Days` will include the 17 official Hong Kong public holidays and the two Sundays during Chinese New Year and Easter.

Ngong Ping 360 is currently under construction and is expected to open in early 2006. The project is being developed and financed by the MTR Corporation, which was awarded a 30-year build-operate-transfer franchise in 2002.

Skyrail-ITM (Hong Kong) Ltd is the operator of Ngong Ping 360, whose parent company built and operates the world-famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in Australia.

It is anticipated that Ngong Ping 360 will welcome over 1.5 million visitors during its first year of operation.

Ngong Ping 360 will operate from 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays, 10:00am to 6:30pm on weekends and from 9:00am to 6:30pm on Special Days*.
