Mr. Patrick Martinez has been appointed as the new General Manager of Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa and he will be responsible for overseeing the operational planning, sales & marketing efforts and promotional synergies of the hotel.
A native from Nice (France – Cote d’Azur), Mr. Martinez has worked in Asia for Marriott International for the last 11 years after a couple of years of experience in Europe and Middle East with luxury properties from the Intercontinental and Hyatt group of hotels.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Martinez was the successful General Manager of the Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa. He played an instrumental role in this property, driving customers and associates (staff) satisfaction to achieve one of the best results among all Marriott International hotels worldwide. Through his leadership, the hotel has gained several awards in 2006 like the TAT Thailand Tourism Award of Excellence for Resort Hotel in the Central Region as well as receiving the five stars award from Thailand Hotel Standards.
Speaking of his new appointment at the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Mr. Martinez said “I am truly excited to join our flagship Marriott Resort in Thailand, part of the Minor group.
