Banyan Tree establishes presence in Moscow

Banyan Tree Holdings Limited has opened a dedicated sales office in Moscow to represent the interests of Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts and its sister brand Angsana Resorts & Spa. This move is in line with the Group’s recognition of the strong potential in the Russian outbound market.

Banyan Tree Phuket, Banyan Tree Seychelles and the Group’s four Maldivian resorts (on Vabbinfaru, Ihuru, Velavaru and Madivaru islands) have seen a steady influx of Russian visitors in the last few years. The new sales representation in Moscow will capitalise on this interest, building the market and demonstrating the diversity of hotels and resorts in iconic cultural destinations as well as exotic beach locations. It will also provide assistance and information support to travel agencies, tour operators and members of the public.

Global Expansion

Currently, there are 47 new hotels and resorts in the development pipeline slated to open over the next few years. This includes new destinations such as Mexico, the Caribbean, Ras Al Khaimah, Turkey, Greece, Vietnam and
Philippines.
