Also he says that Greece and Egypt can work closely to attract tourists from long haul markets, like America and China. Finally he talks about the efforts to increase tourist traffic from Asia to Egypt.

TravelDailyNews: Mr minister, after three and a half years of political turbulence Egypt is coming back to the tourism arena. Which are the priorities of Egypt’s tourism policy?

TDN: How do you plan to cooperate with neighboring countries for example Greece or Cyprus for co-marketing activities for the long haul markets especially?

TDN: Few months ago during 2014 Egypt Tourism and Egypt Air made a big B2B campaign to gain back the traffic from Southeast Asia and position Egypt as the entrance point to Europe. How important is Southeast Asia region for the tourism of Egypt?
