Day 1: (D) CHIANG MAI ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR
Arrive in Chiang Mai airport and transfer by private vehicle with English speaking guide to check in at the hotel PM. drive through different parts of the city, passing old City walls, gates and city moat and Tapae, Chiang Mai’s main street to visit Wat Chiang Man (AD 1297), the oldest temple within the city walls;Wat Phra Singh(A.D.1345) housing a very old and sacred Buddha image; Wat Chedi Luang (A.D.1411) where the famous Emerald Buddha was once enshrined; nearby walk to visit Wat Pan Tao also on the grounds, has a wooden northern architecture, reclining Buddha, and fine carving on the eaves and door before drive up to Doi Suthep mountain to visit Prathat Doi Suthep temple and to enjoy panoramic view of the city from the mountain top. Return back to hotel
Evening enjoy a typical Thai dinner at Benjarong with presentation of ancient dances from northern Thailand, followed by a performance of dances and songs by various hill tribe.  Return to hotel.
 
Day 2: (B, L) CHIANG MAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE
After Breakfast, check out and depart Chiang Mai drive approx. 3-4 hours via Waing Pa Pao district to Chiang Rai with stop at local hot spring and visit at Wat Rong Khun, the white temple where design by the famous Artist in Thailand.  Proceed to Mae Chan  for visit and explore the Yao and Akha hill tribe village and see their quaint, unique costumes.  The journey  continue visit Golden Triangle, Here there are magnificent views over the Mekong river to the physical triangle made by Burma, Laos and Thailand at the confluence of the Ruak and Mae Khong.Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch Mae Sai border market, the northernmost point in Thailand situated on the border with Burma where the shops and street stalls are full of Chinese and Burmese handicrafts and antiques. Return to hotel in Chiang Mai.
 
Day 3: (B) ELEPHANT CAMP – DEPARTURE
Visit the wooded area north of the City to see Elephants at work at Mae Sa Elephant Camp, watch the elephants taking their morning bath in the running streams before starting their day’s training and work. See the demonstration of elephants at work. (Optional : elephant riding). Continue on to a nearby orchid farm there is time to explore and learn about the exquisite blooms at the farm.  Drop off at Chiang Mai Airport for afternoon flight to next destination.
