Social media is a fact you cannot avoid. P10 Design Hotel took advantage of the interactivity of social media to maximize guests experience.
Mrs Tuernjai Petcherat, Koh Samui’s prominent travel entrepreneur, announced the opening of the new P10 Samui Design hotel.
The launch of the new hotel is making waves across the island as its design and operations standards follow the “social Network” trend. Due to its inspirational unique design,the P10 has become an attraction and a “must see Landmark” by many tourists and locals visiting Samui. “All through the day people just line up and take pictures of the building” said Mr Sebastian Godino the hotels General Manager. he added that: “P10 is different to most hotels, as it is socially integrated, promoting guests to socially interact with the local neighbors and businesses, thus enriching the holiday experience”.
The hotel has gained a very popular status even before its doors opened and has been nicknamed by many locals as the “facebook hotel”.
The P10 interactive app for its guest, one of the first in the world, is available free of charge to download for Apple and Android.The guests are encouraged to connect and interact with the hotel services, the other guests, and even the local services, and can even share the experience with their Facebook friends. The interaction allows guests to access information and recommendations on tours, night life, restaurants and more… and the local service providers are socially involved, giving the hotel guests special promotions and discounts.
“Why pay for something you don’t want…???” said Mrs Tuernjai Petcherat, “Most hotels offer a large in house selection of services and restaurants that causes the basic price of the room to be higher and more expensive, and most guests don’t use those services.. what they really want is to go out, explore and interact with the local scene. So we give them a lifestyle hotel with a very reasonable price that follows the Social Network scene that so many people enjoy.” The P10 18 duplexes are all pool front. The swimming pool runs through the center of the hotel, thus creating a meeting point for the hotel guests, both floors of the duplex are equipped with LCD flat screens with a selection of TV channels. Innovative design elements are featured in all aspects of the room as well as relaxing ‘rain’ showers and anti-mist mirrors, high-speed free Wifi and an in-room safe.
