MoU between Centara Hotels & Resorts and the College of Innovation, Thammasat University

Centara Hotels & Resorts recognizes the importance of the education in producing and developing human resources with necessary capabilities and skills to deal with the present-day labor market and comply with Thai tourism public policy.

On December 21, 2015 Centara Hotels & Resorts and the College of Innovation, Thammasat University (CITU) signed an MoU. The MoU was signed by Khun Supatra Chirathivat, SVP for Corporate Affairs and Social Responsibility of Centara and Dr. Pravit Khaemasunun, Dean of the College of Innovation. The signing was witnessed by Khun Patara Jongcharoenkulchai (Centara VP – Human Resources); Tom Thrussell, Centara VP Brand Marketing and Digital; Michelle Jamieson, Corporate Director Marketing Communications (International); Dr. Kannapa Pongponrat, CITU Associate Dean; Professor Dr. Walter Jamieson, Director of the Service Innovation Program.
 
Centara Hotels & Resorts recognizes the importance of the education in producing and developing human resources with necessary capabilities and skills to deal with the present-day labor market and comply with Thai tourism public policy. The parties recognize the importance of ensuring that University students have actual work experience and have the opportunity of applying the skills and knowledge they have obtained within their university program. Both parties also agree to cooperate on training or research and development initiatives when appropriate. Both parties recognize that this partnership is to the advantage of the hospitality industry in Thailand.
 
The MoU is in effect for three years.
