Availpro partners with Splendia

Availpro and Splendia officially announce that the interface between their two applications is hereby made available to all their hoteliers. This partnership – from a technical and commercial point of view – which was requested by both companies? 3-star plus and 4-star hoteliers, augurs for the strengthening of Availpro?s position on this luxury hotel segment.

In 7 years, the luxury hotel e-distributor Splendia has been able to seduce a significant number of Luxury and Character Hotels worldwide. This site?s success and attractiveness has encouraged more than 5,000 hotels to join the site in order to avail of its visibility on the Leisure segment – clients who are looking for “extra” ordinary hotels.

With the multiplication of the distribution of their offer on a wide number of channels, the hoteliers wanted to see Splendia develop connectivity with Smart Channel Availpro. The objective of this is to simplify the task of hotel owners by offering them a very simple way of updating their offer as well as automatically synchronized room rates. Today, these connectivities between distribution sites and Availpro Smart Channel Manager are becoming a must for those hotels that want to emphasize productivity and real-time updating.

Kevin Mauffrey, Global Hotel Business Director with Splendia, comments on this association: “We are delighted with the launch of the connectivity with Availpro, a major player on the European market. This association is going to allow us to widen our offer on those destinations where we have a lighter presence, whilst at the same time offering our partner hoteliers a time-saving thanks to an infallible system that we highly recommend.”

Within the framework of its strategy of acquisition of new hotels, Availpro wants to reinforce its position on the top of the range segment. To anticipate the expectations of this category of hotel, the company expanded its range of services in 2010 (cancellation insurance, customer satisfaction tracking, dedicated account manager…) all of which was met by its users with enthusiasm. During the satisfaction survey of its hotel owners carried out in December 2010, the company recorded a progression of +4% (94 v 90%) in its hotels Very or Quite satisfied with its service.

Philippe Lamarche, Chairman of the Board of Availpro, confirms that the company is going to continue in this vein: “In 2011, the company is going ahead with its expansion especially by connecting with online distribution sites for luxury and character hotels such as Splendia, which our hotel owners are looking forward to. In fact, we will be meeting with them in order to present our exhaustive offer and future features of our tools both within France and abroad.”
