Star Cruises inducted in TTG Travel Awards “Travel Hall of Fame” for the fifth consecutive year

Star Cruises will continue to create memorable holiday experience for passengers, especially with the upcoming launch of SuperStar Gemini, after a US$50 refurbishment, and the return of SuperStar Aquarius to Sanya for a second seasonal deployment.

HONG KONG – Star Cruises, the leading cruise line in Asia-Pacific, has been recognized as a “Travel Hall of Fame” Inductee in the TTG Travel Awards for the fifth year. The prestigious accolade, one of the travel industry’s pinnacle recognitions, was conferred to Star Cruises after the company winning the “Best Cruise Operator in the Asia-Pacific” in the TTG Travel Awards for ten consecutive years.

Looking ahead, Star Cruises will continue to create memorable holiday experience for passengers, especially with the upcoming launch of SuperStar Gemini, after a US$50 refurbishment, and the return of SuperStar Aquarius to Sanya for a second seasonal deployment. SuperStar Gemini will commence her inaugural sail series in 2013 from Penang (January) and Sanya (February and March). In April, she will be homeported in Shanghai and offer exciting itineraries to popular destinations in North Asia. SuperStar Aquarius will be deployed to Sanya again in November to call at picturesque Halong Bay and Danang.

The TTG Travel Awards this year recognised 80 of the Asia-Pacific travel trade’s best organisations and individuals, and garnered a total of 60,000 valid votes.
