ICC Sydney named top convention and exhibition venue at TTG Travel Awards

Situated at the heart of a vibrant inner-Sydney precinct on the water's edge, ICC Sydney was recognised as a driving force in the Asia Pacific events industry, consistently providing world class visitor experiences.

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, has been crowned ‘Best Convention & Exhibition Centre’ at the 31st Annual TTG Travel Awards 2022, reaffirming its reputation as the premier convention, exhibition and entertainment venue in the Asia Pacific region.

Chief Executive Officer of ICC Sydney and Group Director - Convention Centres ASM Global (APAC), Geoff Donaghy said the venue’s achievements were a testament to its innovative approach and exceptionally talented in house team.

“The ICC Sydney team is proud to have been voted a winner in the TTG Travel Awards. Our gratitude goes to our network of travel agents for the support and recognition. This award reaffirms our positioning as being ‘More than a Venue’ for our clients, stakeholders and community.

ICC Sydney has continued to enhance its in house audio visual, event planning, sustainability and culinary services. The venue’s new services include Connect Hub – its one stop destination for speaker preparation and digital event solutions, Connect Outdoors – its styled, open air networking service, and expanded industry leading Legacy Program enrich client and delegate experiences. Last year, ICC Sydney’s clients and delegates both awarded the venue near perfect scores ranking their satisfaction as 99%.

The venue has worked to make a difference in its community as it released its second Reconciliation Action Plan and built on its ‘employer of choice’ position through an active diversity and inclusion program across its workforce.
