Hyatt place Bangkok Sukhumvit announces new general manager

Mr. Tanachai is a highly respected professional with a wealth of hospitality operation and management experiences and has been with Hyatt hotels since 2001.

Bangkok, Thailand – The Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit is pleased to announce that Mr. Tanachai Sirimongkol, or Mr. Edd, has been appointed as the hotel’s new General Manager as of October 1, 2019.

Mr. Tanachai is a highly respected professional with a wealth of hospitality operation and management experiences and has been with Hyatt hotels since 2001. He started his career with Hyatt Regency Hua Hin as a pre-opening team, opened THE BARAI in 2008 and growing his career by holding a position as a Director of Room. He transferred next as a Director of Room at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok and most recently as a Director of Room, pre-opening team of Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit.

He also has considerable experience providing and operational support to sister properties locally and internationally including Hyatt Regency Danang, Hyatt Regency Phuket during pre-opening and Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay.

Mr. Tanachai says, “I am really excited and honoured to be promoted into the role of General Manager, to continue driving the culture and stability of Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit that Ms. Saraid has successfully built the solid ground,”

A challenge I look forward to expanding on my 18 years with Hyatt in full service brands, Hyatt Regency and Grand Hyatt. Ms. Saraid Carey, General Manager of Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit commented on the appointment: “I wish my colleague Khun Edd great success for the years ahead and I know the hotel will continue to thrive under his leadership.
