New luxury cruise line becomes newest brand to join Cruise Traveller portfolio

New fly, sail and rail package on new ship to Hawaii and Canada – Book by July 31, 2023

A new luxury cruise brand, Explora Journeys, which launches its first ship this month, is the latest cruise line to join the portfolio of boutique cruise companies sold by Australia’s leading, small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller.

To celebrate the latest addition to Cruise Traveller’s expanding collection of cruise brands it packages for Australians, Cruise Traveller has released an exclusive fly, rail, sail and stay package that will see guests cruise from Hawaii to Canada aboard Explora Journey’s first luxury ship, Explora I, which embarks on its maiden voyage this month.

Explora Journeys is the culmination of a long-cherished dream by the Swiss-Italian seafaring family behind major line, MSC Cruises, to create a transformative, luxury ocean travel experience that takes guests on exquisite journeys of exploration and discovery, with a focus on mindful travel and meaningful and powerful connections with the ocean which Explora Journeys calls an ‘ocean state of mind’.

The brand, new Explora I – the first of four planned ships for Explora Journeys – is a spacious and elegant ship exuding class, sophistication and a boutique hotel ambience with nine all-inclusive dining experiences, four pools, five whirlpools and 10 lounges and bars, with all staterooms offering a private balcony. The ship accommodates 922-guests who are pampered by 700 crew.

Cruise Traveller’s exclusive, new 20-night fly, cruise, rail and stay package – ‘Aloha Canada’ – begins on April 24, 2024, with an included flight from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth to Honolulu where guests will spend three nights in an ocean-view hotel room near Waikiki Beach, with plenty of time for relaxation and exploration. Guests then board Explora I for a nine-night cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver via the lush Hawaiian islands of Maui and Kauai and the Canadian city of Victoria. Onboard beverages are included.

After disembarking in Vancouver, guests will spend four nights in the beautiful city with harbour-view accommodation, before boarding the famous Rocky Mountaineer train for a two-day, bucket-list trip in Gold Class to Banff, with gourmet meals and panoramic windows. Two memorable nights follow in the equally famous, castle-like Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, cradled by the majestic peaks of the Rockies. A night in Calgary ends the journey before guests fly home on included flights to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth.
