Emirates resumes its daily service from Singapore to Phnom Penh, strengthening connections and enhancing Southeast Asian market presence.

SINGAPORE – Emirates relaunched its daily Phnom Penh service via Singapore. This service marks Emirates’ first direct link between Singapore and Phnom Penh, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to the Southeast Asian market.

Departing from Dubai at 0130 hrs, the maiden EK348 flight touched down in Singapore at 1305 hrs before continuing its journey to Phnom Penh at 1535 hrs. The occasion was commemorated with a ceremonial event at the Emirates Lounge in Changi Airport Terminal 1, graced by esteemed guests including His Excellency Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore; Mr. Vy. Samdy, First Secretary, Cambodian Embassy; Mr. Steven Ler, President, National Association of Travel Agents Singapore; Mr. Damon Wong, Senior Vice President, Airport Operations Planning, Changi Airport Group; Mr. Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales and Country Management; Mr. Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Far East; and Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Country Manager for Singapore and Brunei.

Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Country Manager for Singapore & Brunei, said: “The launch of the daily service between Singapore and Phnom Penh follows the relaunch of our daily direct flight between Singapore and Melbourne in January 2023. This further strengthens our network in the region, offering travelers the opportunity to Fly Better with Emirates, and businesses wider and deeper trade connections.”

Nabil Sultan commented on Emirates’ resumed operations in Phnom Penh: “Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage and growing economic stability make it an attractive destination for leisure and business travels. We’re excited for this unique gateway to once again join our already extensive Far East network. Through the linked services between Singapore and Phnom Penh, we are also able to support the trade and business movements between the two regional hubs and facilitate the convenient shipment of imports and exports between Singapore, Cambodia and the UAE, as well as other markets in our global network.

We thank the local authorities in Cambodia for their support in facilitating the return of our operations to Phnom Penh, and look forward to offering a world-class travel experience for customers, and driving more visitors into both Singapore and Cambodia.”

Situated in the south-central region of Cambodia, Phnom Penh serves as the country’s primary economic, industrial, and cultural hub. The introduction of Emirates’ new service will not only expand the airline’s connectivity to and from Dubai within Southeast Asia but also foster seamless travel and trade between Singapore and Cambodia.

Emirates operates its modern Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration on flights to Phnom Penh, offering 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 304 spacious seats in Economy Class.
