New carrier’s dedication to innovative solutions and service excellence will help set new standards in Thai aviation.

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Patee Sarasin, CEO of Really Cool Airlines, announce the launch of a new Thai carrier, ‘Really Cool Airlines,’ that aims to revitalize Thailand’s aviation and hospitality industry. With its mission to prioritize global safety standards and service excellence, and a ‘We Fly the Future’ ethos, Really Cool Airlines is dedicated to creating viable growth that all its stakeholders can take pride in.

“We are thrilled to introduce Really Cool Airlines and look forward to providing travelers with an exceptional flying experience,” said Patee. “Our team of experts has worked tirelessly to create a new standard for the aviation industry, and we’re excited to unveil in the coming months what we have in store.”

Patee’s vision combines innovations in service approaches and technology to stimulate the Thai aviation, tourism and logistic markets. The new airline embraces a strict global safety mindset and standard, while also promoting pride and service excellence among staff, customers, and shareholders.

Really Cool Airlines plans to announce aircraft types, destinations and its route network in the coming months, with operations expected to commence by the end of 2023. Also to be revealed soon are details on the approaches and services ‘that will set Really Cool Airlines apart from the rest of the world,” says Patee.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the country welcomed 2.14 million arrivals in January 2023, down slightly from the previous month but bolstered by the return of travellers from China following removal of its COVID-19 restrictions. The TAT is optimistically targeting 30 million tourist arrivals to Thailand in 2023, or approximately 80% of the 39 million tourist arrivals recorded in 2019.

To achieve this ambitious target, the TAT has also gone on record saying the country needs to increase the number of airlines and flights serving its popular tourist destinations.

“Really Cool Airlines is a welcome addition to Thailand’s aviation sector, and we are proud to support it. Their commitment to providing a unique flying experience will not only enhance the travel experience for passengers, but also contribute to the growth of Thailand’s resurgent travel and hospitality industries. We are excited to see what the future holds for Really Cool Airlines and look forward to their inaugural flight,” said Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok governor.
