Select Hotels & Resorts International announced the establishment of a strong marketing alliance with Cruiseco which will see Select Member properties gain increased support from many of the leading travel retailers within Australia.

Cruiseco is Australia`s largest consortium of specialist cruise travel agents including many of the most upmarket retailers in Australia.

Select has printed 5,000 copies of a special edition of the 2006 Select Guide which carries the Cruiseco logo on the front cover for exclusive distribution to Cruiseco clients. Other benefits of the alliance will be reciprocal advertising on each others websites and newsletters. Cruiseco guests will receive a welcome recognition letter from each property giving mention of the agent who made the booking. Cruiseco agents will also receive extra commission when making bookings on all Select Member properties.

There will be an exclusive Cruiseco agents launch 2nd March on Select’s MV Aqua on Sydney Harbour. The alliance is seen as beneficial to both companies and will be enhanced with more opportunities once launched.

Select specializes in unique accommodation and travel experiences throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, re-launched in 2004 in response to industry demand. In 2006, membership has grown to forty-eight unique luxury properties plus two exclusive cruise vessels, Motor Vessel AqA, Sydney and Motor Yacht Galerna based in New Zealand. The range of accommodation available now extends from two atolls in the Tuamotu Archipelago, in our newest location, French Polynesia, to the larger, centrally-located, city glamour of boutique Hotel Lindrum in Melbourne and award-winning The Observatory Hotel in Sydney. Select also now boasts Member properties in every Australian state and territory and two more unique additions in New Zealand.
