LONDON – Leading Asia specialist, Travel Indochina, has introduced its new Small Group Journeys brochure for 2014-15, with every tour 100% guaranteed to operate. The new brochure covers 11 countries, including numerous cross border options, 70 itineraries, over 1,000 guaranteed departures and a range of brand new Insider Experiences designed to showcase the ‘real’ Asia and provide ever lasting memories for travellers.

Travel Indochina’s new Insider Experiences are designed to further enhance the real experience-based nature of its escorted Small Group Journeys. New additions for 2014 include an exclusive day trip by speedboat departing from Saigon and travelling by river all the way to the Mekong Delta, visiting a local village and riverside market on the ever popular 11-day ‘Vietnam Insight’ journey; a tour of a local Cambodian salt field to see how salt is farmed and produced on the 11-day ‘Cambodia Revealed’ itinerary; and a special opportunity to discover Japan’s samurai quarters in Kanazawa and enjoy a traditional Maiko performance and Kaiseki dinner in Kyoto with the rare chance to meet the  famed apprentice geishas on the 15-day ‘Secrets of Japan’ tour.

There are further highlights for those seeking a truly enriching experience, with a host of special Small Group Journeys in Mongolia, Bhutan, India and Japan operating on dates that coincide with some of the greatest festivals held in these captivating countries. Options include the 16-day ‘Trans Mongolian Adventure with Naadam Festival’ and the 15-day ‘Secrets of Japan with Kyoto Gion Festival’ in July, as well as the 13-day ‘Highlights of Bhutan with Jambay Lakhang Festival’ and the 14-day ‘Highlights of Rajasthan with Pushkar Festival’ in November, amongst other spectacular celebrations throughout the year.

All this plus the fantastic news that every Small Group Journey in 2014 is guaranteed to operate, meaning customers can arrange their preferred journey with absolute confidence. Not only does this guarantee provide peace of mind that the tour they have booked will 100% go ahead, it also enables customers to complete their booking as far in advance as they desire, allowing them to secure the best airfares possible and make all other necessary arrangements within plenty of time.

All 2014 Small Group Journeys will operate with a maximum group size of just 16 passengers, with the additional advantage of a dedicated Western tour leader and expert local English-speaking guides to ensure the best holiday experience possible, with a local viewpoint revealing the ‘real’ Asia. Managing director and co-founder Paul Hole says: “Our guarantee of a maximum of just 16 travellers, plus our unique combination of both Western tour leaders and local guides, really allows us to stand apart from other options. This part of the world is all we do, and we have 20 years’ experience in bringing unique travel experiences to our travellers.”

Manda Churchill, UK general manager of Travel Indochina, adds: “Our new Asia Escorted Small Group Journeys brochure is our most comprehensive to date. Our sheer range of guaranteed departure dates is greatly complemented by more ‘Insider Experiences’ than ever before, ensuring we have something on offer for everyone, at any time of year, to best suit their holiday plans.”

With a key focus on its original area of specialism – Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos – Travel Indochina’s Small Group Journeys brochure contains more itineraries to Indochina than any other group tour operator in the UK, as well as other destinations across the region. With the recent opening of two new offices in Laos and the expansion of its operations in Vietnam, Travel Indochina now also boasts seven offices in Asia to provide travellers with unrivalled on-the-ground support in the region.
