Three AsiaWorld-Expo employees win “47th Distinguished Salesperson Award” (DSA)

HONG KONG – Entering into its 10th anniversary year, the world’s leading EXPOtainment venue, AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) has achieved a remarkable accolade with three outstanding MICE event specialists awarded the “47th Distinguished Salesperson Award” (DSA Award), which was jointly organised by the Hong Kong Management Association and the Sales and Marketing Executives Club. This is not only AWE’s first attempt to join the DSA competition, but also a milestone achievement for the Exhibition and Convention industry earning the honourable acclaim.
 

With a history of almost half a century, the DSA Award has long been established and recognised worldwide by sales professionals as the standard of excellence in salesmanship. In 2015, over 230 professional salespersons from 78 companies were nominated to compete in the award. Most of the contestants are from well-known conglomerates experienced in DSA competition.
 

Mr. Allen Ha, Chief Executive Officer of AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited said, “Among stiff competition from contestants of diverse fields with an illustrious track record of winning experiences, we are very pleased that all three nominees from AWE have received the honourable DSA Award in our first attempt, reinforcing our team’s outstanding performance and innovative salesmanship skills. Furthermore, the process of preparation has demonstrated excellent teamwork and cross-team collaboration, which has made all of us very proud indeed.”
 

“This new award comes on top of our prestigious ‘Best Venue Team’ award in Asia by the CEI Asia Industry Award, which again represents industry-recognition of our team’s innovation in generating new ideas, and collaboration with customers to meet their unique and differing needs,” added Mr. Ha.
 

The winners of the “47th DSA Award” from AWE are Anita Wong, Yasmin Cheng, and Rachel Lo from the Business Development department. In the DSA presentation, they active pitched AWE’s Signature Green Menus, Thematic Refreshment Session, and Tailor-made Corporate Event Solution respectively.
