Starting November 2, 2022, the flight service connecting Taipei and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) will be operated for daily flights, with an approximate flight duration of 3 hours 45 minutes.
BANGKOK – Thai Vietjet further announced the addition of its international service Taipei – Bangkok to daily flights, starting from November 2, 2022, given the current quarantine policy in Taiwan.
“After a long break from COVID-19, the gradual restoration of the international travel market is definitely a significant sign. What we find, beyond our expectations, is the great feedback from the market between Thailand and Taiwan, since our flight service launch between Taipei and Bangkok back in August 2022. With further relaxation of travel restrictions in Taiwan, allowing Thai travelers to enter Taiwan without quarantine and Visa-free, we are eager to add more flights during the upcoming peak travel season, offering a more convenient yet affordable choice of travel for international tourists traveling between Taiwan and Thailand”, said Mr. Pinyot Pibulsonggram, Director of Commercial, Thai Vietjet.

The airline also offers various connections at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to various Thai top domestic destinations, including Phuket, Krabi, and Chiang Mai.
Currently, passengers entering Thailand are no longer required to possess a certificate of testing for a negative COVID-19 result prior to entering the country or upon arrival. Passengers are also not required to quarantine upon arrival due to the removal of the ‘Test & Go’ scheme from May 1, 2022.
As the Fastest Growing Low-cost Carrier of the Year 2020 (awarded by Global Business Outlook Magazine, London), Thai Vietjet has continuously expanded its domestic and international flight network.
