Tangla Hotel Tianjin bestowed with the “International Six Star Diamond Award”

The Tangla Hotel Tianjin was bestowed the “International Six Star Diamond Award” by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, becoming the sixth in the world and the first in China’s mainland to receive the highest award of excellence in the global hospitality industry.

The Hainan Airlines Group announced that the Tangla Hotel Tianjin, owned and managed by HNA Hospitality Group was bestowed the “International Six Star Diamond Award” by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, becoming the sixth in the world and the first in China’s mainland to receive the highest award of excellence in the global hospitality industry. The leaders of China National Tourism Administration, Tianjin municipality and Hainan Airlines Group attended the gala event.

“International Six Star Diamond Award” is established by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences in 1949 with its headquarters in New York. “International Star Diamond Award” is the highest honor bestowed by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences to the international services and it is the most international recognized award, liken as the “Oscar” in service industry. “International Six Star Diamond Award” is the highest level in the “International Star Diamond Award” certification, also known as the jewel in the crown.

Tangla Hotel Tianjin joined an elite group of five members only globally. There are only two in Asia, including Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Tokyo and The Peninsula in Hong Kong; marking the Chinese national hotel brand recognition by the important international hospitality authority.

Tianjin Hotel Tangla is located in Nanjing Road, Tianjin’s core business district. The hotel is the first “selection of the Tangla luxury collection hotel” built by the HNA Hospitality Group under the brand of Tangla Hotels & Resorts. This year, the HNA Hospitality Group launched the highest service standards in Executive Floors in a luxury hotel in Tianjin, which aims to provide the most authentic personalized services. Tangla Hotel Tianjin’s revolutionary dissolution of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Food & Beverage departments of the traditional hotel sector setting, is replaced by a unique new luxury hotel service culture – “Tangla Ambassador” – which makes the Tangla brand reach the highest international standards in facilities, operation management and quality of service.

HNA Hospitality Group was founded in 1997, from that day on, it began its mission in “creating the world class hotel brand for Chinese nation”. In 2008, HNA Hospitality Group created its own high-end international hotel brand – Tangla Hotels & Resorts. Based on extensive research and development of China’s long cultural etiquette and combined with modern hotel sciences, the HNA Hospitality Group launched the first Tangla hotel in the heart of Chang’an Avenue in Beijing in 2009. The group have grown the Tangla brand internationally this year, with projects of soon-to-open Tangla hotels in New York and Brussels and other international central cities, promoting the Tangla brand in scale and international level of development.

The unlimited potential of tourism in Bohai stimulates the rapid development of the hotel industry

As a historical and cultural city, the hotel industry develops earlier in Tianjin, many well-known hotels are over a century, such as the famous Li Shun De Hotel has a 147 years’ history. In recent years, Tianjin’s rapid economic growth and country’s policy support to the Binhai New Area, Tianjin Municipal Government increase its foreign investment efforts, as while the hotel industry have also been strengthened as an important window for the building of five star hotels. Benefited from the tourism and many large exhibitions settled in Tianjin, this time has become the precious golden time for the development of hotel industry. In 2006, Tianjin had only six five-star hotels, but at the end of the year it will have 36 five-star hotels.

Tianjin tourism and hotel industry have been recognized with a high degree of optimistic, due to the positive impact of the Beijing, the whole industry is growing and is expected to continue to receive the integrated development of Beijing and Tianjin, and the Bohai Sea continues to benefit. In addition, in the process of development of regional tourism in Beijing and Tianjin, Tianjin is the most effective protection of Beijing tourism municipality.

There is huge room for future development of the Tianjin tourism market and is an important layout of the HNA Hospitality Group to build the China’s world-class luxury hotel brand. Now it is looking to the depth of excavation and expansion of tourism market in the Bohai Sea economic circle for HNA Hospitality Group.
