Scoot launches Sabre

Sabre is the 6th GDS to be implemented by Scoot along with Abacus, Infini, Galileo, Amadeus and TravelSky.

Scoot (TZ) has signed an agreement with global technology company Sabre, to make its low cost fares and inventory visible and available via Sabre, effective 17 June, 2015.

As many Australian agents use Sabre daily, it will save them time to book, as they don’t have to log-in and use the Scoot website agent’s portal each time to make a client booking. They are therefore more likely to recommend a client to fly Scoot, if the process is simple,” says Dennis Basham, General Manager Australia for Scoot.

Also when they search fares to Singapore, Scoot will appear alongside all other airlines, which will improve visibility and keep the Scoot option top of mind during the whole booking process, right from the beginning,” he adds.

Scoot has always maintained its support of the travel trade in Australia, and values, and maintains its relationships with Travel Agents and industry personnel. With the new agreement, FLYBAG and ScootBiz fares will all be conveniently available via Sabre, and at Travel Agent’s fingertips.

Scoot’s partnership with Hahn Air (HR) enables agents to book TZ flights using HR’s ticket stock. Scoot is also available to be ticketed via CVFR and Express Ticketing Group.
