ITTFA, the International Tourism Trade Fairs Association, welcomed its newest member, International Confex at its recent AGM held at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. International Confex covers all sectors of the travel and tourism industry and during its latest event, attracted more than 7,198 registered visitors over three days, serving both international and domestic markets.
ITTFA, which was launched at Arabian Travel Market last month, has evolved from the long-standing ETTFA, which was dedicated to underlining the continued development of the travel trade show industry, initially across Europe and more recently worldwide. The entry requirements allow a much broader spectrum of shows to join however the association continues to maintain, and demand, high standards from all its members and in those seeking application. In so doing, the association continues to strive for greater professionalism in the tourism exhibitions industry.
International Confex is been organized every February for the last 21 years. In 2005, 1,050 exhibitors from 50 countries exhibited.
