The Indonesian government will soon open a tourism representative office in Australia to encourage Australians to visit Indonesia, a cabinet member said on Thurday evening.

Australians are potential visitors to Bali and many of them, in fact, have visited or would like to visit Indonesia, Bali in particular. So it`s a time for us to open a tourism representative office there, Tourism and Culture Minister I Gde Ardika told newsmen , including Australian reporters, here.

On the sidelines of a dinner as part of The Bali Mega Fam Trip for more than 200 Australian tour and travel operators and reporters, the minister , however, did not say when the office would be opened.
