Hotusa Hotels makes its debut on the Asian continent with the inclusion of its first associated establishment in China: the Surpreme Tower Hotel, a four-star hotel, located in the city of Shanghai. With this new addition, Hotusa now is present in 41 countries spread over four continents.
Disembarking in Asia has been one of the objectives that the chain of independent hotels had earmarked for the current year, 2007 being the year of its 30th anniversary. Hotusa plans on continuing its expansion on the continent of Asia over the next few months with new additions in China, particularly because of the considerable interest for the tourist in this destination that will host the 2008 Olympics Games, plus India and other S.E. Asian countries.
The first Hotusa hotel in China is a luxurious establishment, opened in 2005.
