EVA Air has partnered with Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the travel and tourism industry, on a new promotional campaign in the Philippines using social networking sites Twitter and Facebook.
“We are delighted to be offering a unique trade promotion with EVA AIR using highly-popular social networking tools such as Twitter and Facebook” said Albert Villadolid, General Manager of Amadeus Philippines. “This gives travel agents the chance to communicate with us and enter our promotions through channels they enjoy using for daily interaction with their peers. We encourage all travel agents to enter this promotion for the chance to win a much-deserved holiday to Los Angeles or San Francisco and other exciting prizes,” said Villadolid.
Entitled, “Thrilla with EVA”, the promotion gives Reservation Agents the chance to win a roundtrip ticket to Los Angeles or San Francisco with every EVA AIR booking made on the Amadeus Global Distribution System. Additionally, the winning Ticketing Agent will receive a HP Netbook if the booking was ticketed with Amadeus Negotiated Fares, or “Nego Fares”, as it is commonly referred to in the industry. Entries can be submitted via Twitter and Facebook as well as through the Amadeus Philippines website.
