Enjoy ‘Flavours of India’, a unique dining experience onboard Jet Airways

Airline announces special festival of culinary flavours from all across the country.

MUMBAI – Beginning this weekend, guests get to indulge their taste buds onboard Jet Airways, India’s full-service premier international airline, as it celebrates the festive season with a special Flavours of India food festival.

Starting October 14th, all Economy guests aboard the airline’s domestic flights of over 90 minutes duration, will have the opportunity to savour a vast and varied menu of carefully curated delicacies from all corners of India.

The menu, crafted by select chefs from Taj SATS, Sky Gourmet and Oberoi Flight Services, reflects the cultural diversity of India, making for an onboard gastronomic experience like never before.

Guests opting for a Vegetarian meal can choose from dishes such as Subz Kofta (Awadhi speciality), Dhansak (a popular Parsi dish), Paneer Saagwala (from Punjab), Subz Chorchori (from Bengal), as well as Ennai Kathirikkai and Malabari Veg from the south of India.

The non-Vegetarian menu offers guests a variety of dishes some of which include Murgh Banjara (from Hyderabad), Butter Chicken (North Indian speciality), Doi Murgh (from Bengal), Milagu Varuva and Chicken Chettinad (South-Indian speciality), and Chicken Malwani (from Maharashtra).

As an airline, we have always been committed to creating exceptional onboard flying experiences for our guests and we hope that this initiative will make travel on Jet Airways, during this festive season, even more unique and memorable.”

‘Flavours of India’ dining festival will be rolled out for all guests travelling Jet Airways on flights of over 90 minutes in duration. The festival will be held onboard from October 14 to October 25, 2017 and will comprise Lunch and dinner services, with the festive menu available on flights from Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
