Conrad Macao, Cotai Central honoured with three prestigious China Awards

MACAO – Conrad Macao, Cotai Central has added another three accolades to an already extensive collection of awards: China’s Top 10 Most Popular Resort Hotels at the 2016 Golden Pillow Awards, Recommended Chinese Restaurant in the 2016 Target Taste Awards and China’s Top 100 Hotels by the China Travel Awards 2016, held by the Chinese edition of leading travel magazine, Travel + Leisure.

 

Conrad Macao, Cotai Central was the only Macao hotel named in the 2016 China’s Top 10 Most Popular Resort Hotels category at the prestigious 13th Golden Pillow Award of China Hotels awards ceremony in Shanghai on Sept 3. The award specifically targets five-star hotels in mainland China, Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and is the latest recognition of Conrad Macao’s dedication to service excellence in the hospitality industry. 

 

Launched in 2004 by China’s 21st Century Business Herald, the Golden Pillow Award of China Hotels is one of the most closely followed and authoritative hospitality award platforms, with more than 500 five-star hotels entering each year. Winners are selected following an evaluation process involving a panel of judges including hotel investors, business experts and the media, in addition to votes from netizens.

 

 

Meanwhile Conrad Macao, Cotai Central’s signature Chinese restaurant, Dynasty 8, received ‘Recommended Chinese Restaurant’ at the 2016 Target Taste Awards hosted by Target magazine, a luxury lifestyle guide targeted at elite travellers. The award ceremony was held in Beijing on Sept 20 The Target Taste Awards aim to honour and celebrate the best restaurants in mainland China, Macao and Hong Kong. It was the fourth edition of the event, which sees 300 restaurants participate from 20 cities. All awarded restaurants are also included in the “2016 Target Taste” guidebook. It is the second time Dynasty 8 has received this recognition, after also picking the title up in 2014.

 

Conrad Macao, Cotai Central was one of three Sands Resorts properties to be included in this year’s edition of the prestigious Travel + Leisure ‘China’s Top 100 Hotels’ by the China Travel Awards 2016, after also picking up the accolade in 2015.

 

The China Travel Awards follow the principle of being just, fair and open, with winners selected from the tourism industry’s best performers, including hotels, service apartments, cruises, airways and tourism destinations.
