Conferma announces partnership with HSBC

Conferma, the expert in travel and expense reconciliation and settlement technology, announced that it had signed a partnership agreement with HSBC Bank plc, which will enable HSBCs corporate clients to benefit from Conferma’s pioneering virtual reconciliation and settlement technology.

By adding its MiBooking solution, powered by Conferma, to its suite of corporate payment card products, HSBC is providing automated settlement for hotel and other centralised bookings made via a Travel Management Company (TMC) or Hotel Booking Agency, enabling corporate clients to streamline and reduce the cost of the manual hotel bill back process, whilst seamlessly integrating into back office systems.

MiBooking will be available to HSBC’s UK customers, via their chosen TMC or Hotel Booking Agency, from 1st October 2011.

Niall Hossack, Head of Corporate Payment Card Solutions at HSBC, commented: “By partnering with Conferma, we are able to expand our corporate payment offering to our customers, helping them to achieve both greater transparency of spend and reduced processing costs through automated settlement of centralised bookings.”

Simon Barker, CEO, Conferma, commented: “We are delighted to offer HSBC’s corporate customers access to Conferma’s reconciliation and settlement technology. As a result HSBC’s customers will benefit from an automated booking, payment and reconciliation process that reduces admin time and room for error, which ultimately saves money.”

This latest partnership follows similar agreements signed with Barclaycard, American Express and Airplus who all offer Conferma’s settlement and reconciliation solution to their corporate customers.
