Central Hotels and Resorts has selected the Amadeus Hotel Revenue Management Solution (RMS) to drive room revenue for its properties in Thailand. Amadeus RMS will be implemented across ten properties owned or managed by the Central Hotels and Resorts group.

Central Hotels and Resorts owns and operates 12 properties in major cities and resorts throughout Thailand. Commenting on their decision to appoint Amadeus, Mr. Gerd Steeb, President of Central Hotels & Resorts said: “In today’s highly competitive environment, the ability to accurately forecast what we can sell at what price and when is fundamental to business planning. Amadeus RMS was chosen over other solutions, having demonstrated its ability to help manage our resources and inventory in the best manner possible.”

In addition, Amadeus RMS also interfaces with the hotels’ existing property and hotel reservations systems.

“We are delighted that Central Hotels and Resorts has chosen to work with us. From the outset, we were able to demonstrate an understanding of their needs and business challenges and, were able to respond with a solution which is easy to use and integrates with their existing systems,” said Oliver Winzer, Regional Director, IT, Amadeus Hospitality Group Asia Pacific.

Bruno des Fontaines, Vice President for Amadeus Hospitality Group Asia Pacific said: “We are pleased to partner Central Hotels and Resorts to help them drive revenue growth and performance. Amadeus RMS is a dynamic and flexible solution which has been shown to deliver outstanding results for hotels around the world. That combined with our strong presence in Thailand were determining factors resulting in our selection.”
