BESydney promotes Sydney as a business events destination, identifies new event opportunities, and wins these events for Sydney through competitive bid processes. BESydney has a global network spanning Europe and Asia (international offices are located in London, Mumbai (shared with Destination NSW), Shanghai and Singapore). BESydney was the first Australian convention bureau to open an office in Asia.
SYDNEY – Business Events Sydney (BESydney) is entering a new era in the important North American market, appointing Richard Yore, Director of Yore Solutions Inc., to represent the bureau. Yore Solutions Inc. will commence its representation contract with BESydney on 17 February 2014, with Richard taking on the role of Client Relationship Director – Americas.
A respected business events professional, Richard was most recently the Director of Sales – Meetings and Conventions at Tourism Vancouver. He has also played an active role in industry discussion and development as the North American Chapter Chairperson of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
