Best Western in Seventh Heaven in Bangkok

After the latest openings of Best Western Premier Sukhumvit and Best Western Plus Grand Howard, Best Western International added to its Thai portfolio Best Western Klassique Sukhumvit.

BANGKOK- Best Western International is in seventh heaven following the announcement of its latest hotel in Bangkok!

The Best Western Klassique Sukhumvit becomes the seventh Best Western hotel in the Thai capital, and the third new opening of 2012. Located in the center of Bangkok, close to On Nut BTS Skytrain station, the new hotel is set to become a modern classic in one of the city’s most up-and-coming areas.

Designed for individual travelers, business executives and corporate guests, Best Western Klassique Sukhumvit offers 42 contemporary guestrooms perfect for the modern traveler. With exquisite fabrics and polished wood, the spacious, air-conditioned rooms offer the perfect base from which to explore this exciting city. And with complimentary in-room internet access it’s also easy to keep in touch with friends or work.

Rooms range from 23 to 46 square meters in size and include comfortable beds, flat-screen televisions, work desks, minibars and bathroom amenities as standard. There is also one Family Suite which is perfect for parents traveling with children.

The hotel also features an on-site restaurant, Café @ Klassique, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while its location close to the trendy Thong Lor and lively Sukhumvit areas makes it ideal for exploring the famous Bangkok nightlife.

“Bangkok has always been one of Asia’s most sought-after destinations, but the fact that we now offer seven different hotels in the city is a testament to its unwavering popularity,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East.

“The launch of the Best Western Klassique Sukhumvit further cements our strong and diverse portfolio in the Thai capital, adding a modern, boutique option in an exciting, upcoming district of Bangkok. We are confident it will prove hugely popular with both business and leisure guests,” Mr. de Souza added.

So far this year Best Western International, which is headquartered in Bangkok, has added 2 new hotels in the city: the 145-room Best Western Premier Sukhumvit, and 265-room BEST WESTERN PLUS Grand Howard. The addition of Best Western Klassique Sukhumvit expands the group’s citywide portfolio to seven hotels comprising more than 900 rooms.

This is expected to increase to 10 hotels in Bangkok with more than 1,300 rooms in the near future.
