Air Niugini, the National airline of Papua New Guinea is expanding its fleet in response to increased demand for its scheduled services. Within the next two months the airline will take delivery of two more Fokker F100 aircraft to add to the three already in operation plus the Dash 8 has been from four aircraft to six.

Wasantha Kumarasiri, Chief Executive said: “With the increase in the number of F100’s, we plan to retire the F28’s and then our domestic services will all operate on the newer aircraft.”

Air Nuigini also operate a Boeing 767 – 300 ER which is used on services from Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea to Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Singapore.
