Sheraton Towers Singapore unveils new grand ballroom and function venues

Conceptualised to provide the perfect backdrop for any event, the Grand Ballroom's design is influenced by nature-inspired elements with specially curated plush carpet that depicts abstract art.

SINGAPORE – Sheraton Towers Singapore embarked on a multi-million revitalisation project to revamp the Grand Ballroom and function venues after a year-long planning. Having held countless symbolic events, from momentous life celebrations to high-profile corporate meetings over the years, these venues have undergone yet another significant rejuvenation.

Designed by world-renowned international interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), the classically grand function spaces were tastefully modernised to exude contemporary sophistication. Reminiscent of Mother Nature, the refreshed spaces drew inspirations from an amalgamation of natural fauna’s rhythms and shadows. The appointed colour palette features hues of burgundy, purple and grey, replete with mod structural furnishing for an added touch of elegance.

Conceptualised to provide the perfect backdrop for any event, the Grand Ballroom’s design is influenced by nature-inspired elements with specially curated plush carpet that depicts abstract art. Surrounding the expansive space is a series of grey acoustic panels in textured Xorel fabric, ornamented with chrome strips that synthesize contemporary touches with timeless style. The soaring ceiling is adorned with 27 glistening chandeliers and colour-changing cove lightings that are customisable for any event. Exclusive to the Grand Ballroom, the 360 degree rotational martin lights enliven the ambience with dynamic lighting and visual effects, while the LED skirting board in all venues enhances with a captivating soft light effect.

In addition, the Grand Ballroom and function venues are furnished with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, from motorised projection screens that can be accustomed to any banquet configurations to high-definition laser projectors engineered to deliver precise brightness and sharp graphics.

“As part of our long-term commitment to delivering an enriching and refreshing experience to our guests, Sheraton Towers has, over the past couple of years, renewed several areas such as the club lounge, dining establishments, facilities, 420 guestrooms and suites. With the completion of the newly transformed Grand Ballroom and function spaces, we look forward to affording our guests with a definitive world of class and comfort that they are accustomed to,” said Mr Steven Long, General Manager of Sheraton Towers Singapore.
