Richard Berman-Hardman's wealth of experience from previous senior management roles will be of significant benefit to the future growth and development of Skyrail and the broader tourism industry.
Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Berman-Hardmanas General Manager.
Mr Berman-Hardman originally joined Skyrail in October 2016 as Business Operations Manager after relocating to Cairns from Ballarat where he held the role of Director of Operations and Commercial at Sovereign Hill and also sat on various boards.
Skyrail’s Managing Director, Craig Pocock, said Mr Berman-Hardman’s appointment held positive flow-on effects for the business, Cairns region and local tourism industry.
“Richard brings a wealth of experience from previous senior management roles held in the Victorian tourism industry. This experience will be of significant benefit to the future growth and development of Skyrail and the broader tourism industry,” he added.
Mr Berman-Hardman said he was looking forward to the challenge of leading a world-class tourism operation and team.
“The strength of the Skyrail brand and its reputation in the industry as a leader in eco-tourism is a great foundation on which I hope to build as we showcase our World Heritage listed rainforest to the rest of the world,” he said.
