Rayyan Air to introduce innovations and industry standard reservations and check-in systems

Rayyan Air is poised to launch air services and set high benchmarks in convenience and customer satisfaction for its passengers.

ISLAMABAD, Istanbul – The 13th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit was held in Islamabad, Pakistan, on March 1, 2017. The Summit was chaired by Mr. Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan. The important regional Summit was attended by Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and the Special Envoy of the President of Afghanistan.

In his welcoming remarks, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, as the elected Chairman of the Summit, highlighted the importance of the ECO region and expressed the hope that progress towards regional integration would be further accelerated to transform the lives of people from the ECO Region, who number over half a billion. Facilitating enhanced regional cooperation in various fields, to promote trade and investment opportunities, was a main theme of the Summit. With this perspective, the agreement signed by Hitit Computer Services and Rayyan Air was one of the successful outcomes of the ECO – CCI (ECO-Chamber of Commerce) meeting, which was also held along with the summit.

Hitit, one of the leading global airline technology providers and Rayyan Air, an airline company, targeting the fast-growing air travel needs of Pakistan and the region, signed an agreement for technology, know-how and continuous innovation. The signing ceremony was held under the stewardship of Mr. Zubair F. Tufail, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) in the presence of delegates from nine member countries. Speaking at the occasion, Mr.Zubair Tufail stated that continued support of FPCCI shall be a key factor for the success of the project. The collaboration with Hitit will facilitate Rayyan Air in providing increased connectivity and superior air service experience for passengers through use of innovative technology. The efficient and cost effective solutions provided by Hitit will improve operational efficiency across the entire network, which includes destinations within Pakistan, China and the UAE.

Rayyan Air’s CEO Capt. Bhatti, said “Rayyan Air is poised to launch air services and set high benchmarks in convenience and customer satisfaction for its passengers. The access to technology and expertise of Hitit shall enable Rayyan Air to introduce new innovations and industry standard reservations and check-in systems. Most importantly, the high standard solutions of Hitit will assist Rayyan Air achieve its’ vision to facilitate travel activities linked with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

On the occasion, Mrs. Nur Gokman Hitit’s CEO stated, “Economic activities and growing population in Pakistan brings a strong demand potential. A strong domestic market supports its position as a hub to connect all around the region. This is possible through efficient and affordable air travel. Our collaboration with Rayyan Air is paving paths for the airline to be efficient, profitable by providing fast and quality services by making use of technology.”
