Komy has developed CC Mirrors in collaboration with cabin crew members from Japan Airlines.
TOKYO – Komy Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of mirrors for aircraft overhead luggage compartments, will launch a new product named KomyMirror for Cabin Crew in early March 2015.
Komy has developed CC Mirrors in collaboration with cabin crew members from Japan Airlines. Through interviews with the cabin crew, Komy learned what they wanted regarding mirrors for overhead luggage compartments:
- Compact enough to fit in their uniform pockets
- Light, thin and unbreakable
- Clear and stain-resistant surface
After about five months of repeatedly making trial products, Komy succeeded in developing the CC Mirrors that meet these requirements. Now cabin crew members can use these mirrors to check their outfits and emergency equipment gauges while working on board. These CC Mirrors are tailor-made for Japan Airlines as they use the company’s logo and colors.
CC Mirrors can be customized to each airline’s size, shape, color and logo requirements. This new product is expected to improve the service level and efficiency of airline cabin crew members.
