The MOU was signed at a ceremony led by Prof. Dr. Boonmark Sirinaovakul, President, Stamford International University, who warmly welcomed Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management. The ceremony was joined by representatives from Stamford’s faculties and IMPACT executives, and was hosted at Stamford International University, Bangkok Campus.

The collaboration represents an opportunity for students to develop skills and perspectives which lead them to successful careers in the MICE industry. This also positions Stamford as an excellent ‘feeder’ for MICE professionals graduating from the university into top jobs in the sector.

Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management, said, “This agreement between IMPACT and Stamford International University is intended to produce young people who will be a major force in driving the future of the MICE industry in Thailand. We expect the new generation, through innovative education and real-word training offered by Stamford, to specifically answer demands of the employment market.

Mr. Gilles Mahe, CEO Laureate Thailand, said, “Stamford provides an innovative learning experience which focuses on student-centricteaching with interactive learning in an international environment. An academic grounding at Stamford, as well as the attainment of an internationally recognized, industry-relevant degree, provides high quality graduates; it is this which will help to improve Thailand’s position as a leader in MICE, and we hope to enable the country eventually to be the top performing MICE destination in ASEAN.
