Abacus and Spring Airlines strengthen partnership through knowledge exchange

Spearheaded by Ms Cheong Sui Hunn, General Manager of Abacus Singapore, the forum introduced 50 leading travel agencies to Spring Airlines' exceptional fares – only bookable on Abacus solutions.

SINGAPORE – Since the exclusive distribution partnership between Spring Airlines and Abacus in January this year, both companies have been hard at work in growing and securing B2B opportunities across the region. On 10 July 2014, the partnership was brought to the next level via a joint product training programme centred on booking platform Abacus AirBasic.

Spearheaded by Ms Cheong Sui Hunn, General Manager of Abacus Singapore, the forum introduced 50 leading travel agencies to Spring Airlines’ exceptional fares – only bookable on Abacus solutions.

Also gracing the event was Mr Hu Ting Bao, Marketing Director of Spring Airlines, who shared with trade partners key insights into the unique collaboration between the airline and technology company, together with the go-to market strategy for the City State.

Spring Airlines is the first and largest low-cost carrier in mainland China, guaranteeing the best-value alternative airfares for customers who wish to fly to Shanghai.

Similar joint product training and promotional campaigns will also be rolled out across the airline’s other key feeder markets, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
