Tourism New Zealand announces Luxperience sponsorship

Luxperience is the Sydney-based business exchange for the Australasian and Pacific global luxury and experiential travel trade.

Tourism New Zealand has become a major sponsor and destination partner of Luxperience 2014, in conjunction with Air New Zealand.
 
Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) will also increase its exhibitor presence by 70 per cent this year, reflecting the luxury event’s growth over its three year history.
 
Luxperience is the Sydney-based business exchange for the Australasian and Pacific global luxury and experiential travel trade. The three and half day event, which runs from 31 August – 3 September 2014, will see TNZ and Air New Zealand jointly sponsor the Buyer and Media Lounge.
 
Justin Watson, TNZ’s Director of Trade, PR and Major Events, says, “Luxperience offers a unique opportunity to meet with some of the world’s most exclusive luxury travel providers, directly supporting our work to develop and grow the premium sector in New Zealand.”
 
In our third year as a key partner our presence will be bigger than ever with 34 of New Zealand’s premium operators attending alongside us to meet key global contacts. As a sector that holds great growth potential, we are looking forward to once again showcasing New Zealand’s unique luxury tourism product to the right buyers and media that Luxperience delivers for attendees.”
 
Premium New Zealand travel companies exhibiting at the event include Huka Lodge, Blanket Bay, Minaret Station Luxury Tented Lodge and Treetops Lodge and Estate. A total of 300 exhibitors and over 600 buyers are expected to attend, including 350 global travel trade specialists.

Luxperience 2014’s Post Touring Programme also includes three stand-out high end tourism experiences in New Zealand, created in conjunction with TNZ for global buyers:
-Southern Alpine Experience – Canterbury, New Zealand
-Volcanoes, Hobbits and Lodges – Central North Island, New Zealand
-A Bird’s Eye View of the South Island – Queenstown and Wanaka, New Zealand
