Horse-Themed New Year Decoration
In Chinese culture, the horse is a symbol of victory. To welcome the Year of the Horse, StarWorld Macau has adorned its lobby with a series of horse-themed decorations, including the red and golden trotting horse lamps, magnificent carved horses, and Chinese gold ingots at various spots of the hotel. The decorations are designed to bring hotel guests good luck and fortune in the coming year.
Chinese New Year Lucky Draw
During this Chinese New Year period, StarWorld Macau has prepared an array of surprises in order to bring luck and wealth to its guests. On every Sunday night at 7:00 pm during 12 January and 23 March 2014, the hotel will launch “Chinese New Year Lucky Draw” with total cash prizes worth over HKD 8,888,888. On the evening of 30 March 2014 at 10:00 pm, the hotel will host a draw for a final grand prize that worth HKD 1,888,888.

The festive menus offered by the hotel’s restaurants are also filled with New Year blessings. Leading the way, its round-the-clock Asian restaurant, Sensations, has especially launched a Lunar New Year Menu featuring auspicious dishes including “Happy New Year Poon Choi” (Big Bowl Feast) and “Good News in the Spring” (Roasted Pigeon). The hotel’s Continental restaurant, Temptations, has picked a variety of seasonal ingredients to create a “Festive Gathering Dinner Menu”, including fresh Seafood Platter, crunchy Temptation’s Salad, creamy Lobster Bisque, Mixed Grilled Platter and Temptation’s Dessert Tree. The hotel’s Grand Ballroom will launch a series of Chinese New Year special menus including the dim sum lunch, buffet dinner and lunar new year’s eve dinner menus for your to celebrate the Chinese New Year in style; Last but not least, guests are welcomed to enjoy “The world’s best tasting Vodka”, Grey Goose Vodka with their friends at Whisky Bar after enjoying the feasts.
