HONG KONG – SuperStar Gemini will return to Sanya, Hainan on November 1 to embark on its seasonal homeport deployment. This third seasonal Sanya-based deployment of Star Cruises, the leading cruise line in Asia-Pacific, will take passengers to popular Vietnamese destinations Danang and Halong Bay. Star Cruises will also roll out three special SuperStar Gemini cruises prior to the Sanya deployment. The Hong Kong/Haikou cruise departing on 26 October, the Haikou/Halong Bay cruise departing on 27 October and the Haikou/Hong Kong/Sanya cruise departing on 29 October will appeal to passengers of all interests.
SuperStar Gemini has been surprising worldwide passengers with stunning entertainment and shows. To celebrate her Sanya-based deployment, a series of twin-themed performances has been lined up for SuperStar Gemini’s passengers.
· Flying Duo: Masters of gymnastics Anton and Alexey will showcase impressive aerial acrobatics skills combined with dramatic choreography.
· Diving Duo: Cirque Du Soleil’s former dynamic talents Igor and Snizhanna will present a great amount of strength and balance while displaying seamlessly graceful acrobatic movements.
· Straps Duo: Circus performers from Ukraine Ivan and Zhanna present a variety of circus acts from duo aerial straps to solo performances of hula-hoops.
· Quick Change Duo: Similar to the art of “Bian Lian” of Sichuan opera, the very skillful duo from Russia, Yulia and Viacheslav, showcases a new take on instant costume transformations from one style to another.
The magnificent spell-binding performance of internationally acclaimed magician Zlwin Chew and the much-praised music and dance shows Rhythm and Dance and Simple Cabaret will continue to bring you jaw dropping multisensory enjoyment. In addition, Las Vegas illusionist Daniel Craven will also present highly fascinating world-class magic to audience onboard SuperStar Gemini.
