Cvent Partners with AIME for the Meetings and Event Industry in the Asia Pacific Region

Cvent to provide event registration and on-site check-in and badging to support a seamless and contactless experience for both in-person and virtual attendees.

MELBOURNE – Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, is partnering with Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) to support their first ever hybrid event which will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 21 – 23 March and online from 28 March – 01 April. As a primary technology partner of the event, AIME will leverage Cvent’s event management platform for their visitor’s registration and onsite solutions including check-in & badging to ensure a seamless and contactless experience for in-person attendees.

As a primary technology partner, Cvent solutions will help to support AIME 2022’s hybrid event format, which requires more robust technology to deliver both the in-person and virtual experiences. Hybrid events are increasingly growing in popularity as organisations look to maximise attendance and drive engagement. According to Cvent’s most recent Planner Sourcing Report – Australia Edition, nearly half of the planners (45%) are organising hybrid events, indicating the growing confidence in this new digital event landscape. Cvent’s robust technology can support the unique event needs of all event types and Cvent OnArrival will be showcased at AIME 2022, enabling organisers to welcome back their attendees safely and confidently.

Commenting on the partnership, Jack Ukil, Senior Director of Sales and Operations, Cvent Australia said, “We value our long-term partnership with AIME and are proud to support a safe and secure event environment through our end-to end Event Management Platform. The last couple of years have been difficult for the meetings and events industry, so it means that much more to support AIME 2022 as they mark a triumphant return to in-person for the first time since February 2020. We are excited to look beyond recovery and to help event planners and organisations like AIME and Melbourne Convention Bureau continue to bring people together and transform our space.”

Sharing his comments, Silke Calder, AIME’s Event Director said, “We are pleased to partner with event experts Cvent to take care of our guest’s registration needs. AIME has had a long association with Cvent and we value their innovative solutions to support event delivery. When planning for our onsite registration – health and safety were our top priorities. Cvent’s technology will ensure a smooth, safe and efficient experience, so our guests can focus on learning, networking and making the most of their time at AIME 2022.”
