Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok appoints new Director of Wellness

Jittima Wongsiripaiboon brings over 20 years of extensive experience in spa, wellness and fitness operations, sales, and financial management.

BANGKOK – Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok announce the appointment of Jittima Wongsiripaiboon as its new Director of Wellness. In her new role, Jittima will oversee all aspects of the guest wellness and fitness journey and helm the team of world-class experts at the hotel.

Jittima brings over 20 years of extensive experience in spa, wellness and fitness operations, sales, and financial management. In addition, she has a strong background in takeovers, rebranding, renovation, and opening of spas and clinics, including six years of experience in the Middle East.

She has held various leadership positions in the industry, including her most recent as Director of Operations at JW Hospitality Co., Ltd., which operates the Salinda Phu Quoc Resort & Spa in Vietnam and The River Resort – Champasak in Laos. She also worked with the Como Metropolitan Hotel in Bangkok, I.Sawan Residential Spa & Club at the Grand Hyatt Erawan in
Bangkok, and Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, where she was Director of Spa.

In addition to her previous positions, Jittima was General Manager at Memory Clinic Bangkok, a medical centre offering anti-ageing services. She subsequently worked at Apex Medical Center, overseeing the launch and management of new business units to provide highly innovative technology and luxury service to enhance customers’ health, beauty and lifestyle.

Jittima holds an MBA in Marketing from Washington Global University and a BA in Hospitality Management from Rangsit University. She also acquired certification in Thai Traditional Medicine and Thai Massage.

She has received much recognition for her outstanding leadership in the wellness industry. Under her direction, many of the properties she worked at received awards, including Best Spa in Abu Dhabi, Spa of Global Distinction at Emirates Palace, and Best Spa and Best Boutique Hotel on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, for Salinda Resort & Spa. Her contributions to the industry also earned her a shortlist recognition at the Hotelier Middle East Awards in 2010 and a Certificate of Application for Lady Summit UAE.
