The Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa continues its winning streak as it was named a north Queensland finalist in HotelClub’s inaugural Top Hotels of Asia-Pacific award organised by Nine MSN in conjunction with Getaway.
HotelClub is a global online accommodation service receiving over 3.5 million monthly visitors seeking access to its listing of some 21,000 hotels.
“We are thrilled with this great honour that has been given to us by the world’s greatest judges, our guests,” said Rosie Douglas, Director of Sales and Marketing for The Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa.
The Lakes was ranked a finalist in the top three hotels for Queensland. It was the only north Queensland property who reached the final stages, with the winners all Gold Coast properties.
HotelClub is currently preparing a guidebook with all finalists included. Entitled Best Hotels and Resorts Guidebook Australia and New Zealand, the first edition will be launched in October this year and news is that Nine’s Getaway will be actively promoting it to viewers.
