Senior Cross Hotels & Resorts’ executives had planned an after-party to show their appreciation for their key people in strategic markets around the world.
BANGKOK – As the curtains came down on the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair 2023 (BBTF), Cross Hotels & Resorts triumphantly basked in the glow of yet another exhilarating and triumphant event, captivating attendees as its seven remarkable properties in Indonesia swiftly became the talk of the town. This annual tourism extravaganza welcomes industry titans from across the globe and it was the perfect stage for the company’s sales representatives to bask in their well-deserved limelight.
But the celebration did not end as the travel fair came to a close. Senior Cross Hotels & Resorts’ executives had planned an after-party to show their appreciation for their key people in strategic markets around the world. It is these General Sales Agents (GSAs) who, through their daily interactions with clients, are helping to transform the hospitality industry with dynamic brands.
Commenting on the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair, Paul Wilson, Executive Vice President – Commercial, said: “It was a very special few days for Cross Hotels & Resorts which culminated in our appreciation night for our dedicated sales representatives. It was an old-fashioned acknowledgement for our agents on the ground, these talented people who are helping to promote our brands to a global audience. By building solid relationships in their home countries, they are taking Cross Hotels & Resorts to a new level. For that, I say a heartfelt ‘thank you’.”
Cross Hotels & Resorts continues to break barriers and this is reflected in its performance in the travel market as the company continues to outpace its peers. By achieving fantastic milestones pre- and post-COVID, the focus is now on growing this successful management company. This includes invigorating travel agents, partners, hotel owners, and hotel investors. The Bali event was a superb bonding experience as everyone was able to spend quality time with their respective hoteliers and owners.
Taking centrestage at the event were the Balinese resorts Away Bali Legian Camakila; Cross Bali Breakers; Tanadewa Ubud; Tanadewa Nusa Dua; Kaura; as well as Amber by Cross Collection, Lombok; and Away Mandalika, Lombok. Taking the GSA crown for 2023 was Charlie Ridout of Travel Loop Representation, Australia and New Zealand; while Rob Haynes, Red Tree Representation, UK; and Nikhil Jeet, Buzz Travel Marketing, India, also took top honours for their amazing work over the past 12 months.
Evan Burns, Indonesia Country Manager, added: “The properties we have in Indonesia are diverse and provide guests with the full spectrum of experiences they might be looking for, whether that be a family-friendly resort or a tranquil jungle escape. We have something for everyone which means we can cater to just about every type of audience. My personal recommendation would be to try each property we have in Bali. However, if you are looking for something more adventurous, then try Amber by Cross Collection in Lombok as it has one of the best beaches in Indonesia.”
Cross Hotels & Resorts current portfolio includes 28 hotels under six distinct brands – Cross , Cross Vibe, Away, Lumen, Cross Collection and Kaura – across four countries, namely Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam.
