TRAVDEX and ATME partner on industry summit

TRAVDEX, the one-stop shopping trade show for travel technology, announced a partnership with ATME, the Association of Travel Marketing Executives, to promote a groundbreaking summit of leading travel industry trade organizations at the inaugural TRAVDEX in May 2010.

“We are delighted to be partnering with TRAVDEX and will be presenting a Think Tank on the morning of May 5, entitled “Where Marketing & Technology Intersect” that is designed to help travel marketers use technology while keeping their brand intact and creating consumer-friendly experiences,” said Kristin Zern, ATME’s executive director.

TRAVDEX brings together travel technology sellers and travel industry suppliers, intermediaries and other technology purchasers in a global trade show. TRAVDEX debuts May 5-7, 2010 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. TRAVDEX is produced by PhoCusWright Inc., the leading authority on how travelers, suppliers and intermediaries connect.

ATME joins the OpenTravel Alliance as the initial travel, tourism and hospitality industry associations to announce their support of TRAVDEX. The trade show attracts global buyers and sellers of travel technology and facilitates business networking and deal-making sessions.

“Technology enables innovation, and TRAVDEX showcases the best and the brightest players in travel technology,” said Philip C. Wolf, president and CEO of PhoCusWright. “We are thrilled to be working with ATME. The ATME meeting that will be co-located at TRAVDEX enhances the event for all ATME members and is an integral part of the travel industry summit taking place at this premier industry gathering of sellers and buyers of travel technology.”
