Customer Service Agent (Call centre) for a British Travel Agency

A busy British Travel Agency requires experienced & enthusiastic Customer Service Agents for its call centre in Agios Dimitrios. All candidates must speak fluent English. This job involves working within a team, in a Call center in Agios Dimitrios (Athens – Greece), to deliver outstanding service and after sales to customers and administrative support for sales agents. The role is suited to individuals motivated by working in a high pressured and fast paced environment.

Daily duties for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Answering up to 40+ calls/e-mail queries per day from customers
  • Following up on queries by liasing with suppliers and ground handlers in resort
  • Taking payment from customers
  • Arranging amendments and cancellations
  • Handling complaints from customers
  • Dealing with emergency calls from in resort
  • Assist sales agent in amending incorrect bookings
  • Selling products as such as travel insurance, other extra’s and add-ons
  • Checking invoices against bookings

  • has a pleasant, friendly phone manner

Essential requirements:

The candidate must have fluent/excellent standard of English, preferably a native speaker or alternatively the candidate has worked in an English speaking environment previously. Working within the travel industry or in a Customer Service role (preferably on the phone) is essential.
